Go a CA18DET... budget the rest on your suspension, that is where you will win or lose...

    tried and true...

I have an SR in my 86, when I re-do the fuel system, I'll have in excess of 280hp atw. SO i don't know what makes you think you have to spend big $$ to get that power out of an SR.

Plus, 1JZ is an illegal engine conversion into an 86. 2.2L is the maximum you can put into a 86. Therefor, you won't be able to get it mod plated. Unless you know someone really dodgy, it's just not going to happen.

Stick with the 4AGE, or a CA/SR is a fantastic upgrade.
    300hp + 900kg = FUN!!

learn gradually........... 1JZGTE will problem your weight distribution, it will not be the same car it was. if want a big block engine go 3SGE or 3SGTE. if engine choice is 1JZ then you are limited to straight line driving.

i said it was a relatively heavy motor

your response was stupid, and didnt make sence

i had an issue with the motor for being a resonably heavy 2ltr turbo

and you said 35psi yeah baby, and you were going to take me for a drive to shut my yap?

    ok wikkid...?

i never said i dont like 3sgte.... i just said heavy

    how about

we drop a 4age onto my foot, and a 3sgte onto your foor (running 35psi mind u) and see whose foot is more crushed
