They need to seriously look at the drug itself as an "aborting agent". Its not all its cracked up to be.
Clincal trials and testing (information that is not shared by the media or drug companies) shows that there is a high incidence rate of incomplete abortion. The end result is women having to under go a D&C to scrape the rest out. This is the kind of information that seems to not be considered by the multitude within parliment and the general public.
Everyone has this preconcieved idea that its swallow the pill have quite a heavy period and that's it. While it is possible to have it administed orally, the usuall method will be a vaginal pellet/suppository or injection... in order to increase blood levels quickly.
Just some side info for you guys and gals...... RU486 being a steroid (no not for getting buff) on a molecular level shares alot of similarities to Ibuprofen... yep the same drug as in Nurofen.
Anyway..... having a girlfriend that is a midwife and being a registered nurse by profession, you tend to further analyse things more than the BS and misinformation that is fed by the media. Saddens me that people are treated like mushrooms even when it comes to their own health.
