i've been offered a ra60 the question will it fit and will a kaaz lsd center go in it???????
think so... just need to weld some brackets on for you arm thingos
Ahhh dont the RA60's have the G series diff?
Or is that the MA60's
If it has a T series then yes, just make sure your center is to suit the Zenki model
ra60's have a t series, yeh just make sure its a 23spline axel
Unless you've done it, or seen someone bolt one in, don't say maybe, because telling lies is bad.
It's definately different for all the mounts, definately a t series.
you could push it and bolt it in using the mounts on the ra60, but it's not proper.
dan
great thanks guys for the info... i'm not shore if its a t series or not but i'll find out .. once again thanks for the help...![]()
I'm 99.9% sure RA60 are T series

Ok then yes they will work and yes they are a T series and yes you do have to change some brackets. Most ive seen have been 4.1 ratio
Yes it will fit. It will widen the track by around 15mm and you'll need to re-position the sway bar and panhard rod mounts. Trailing arm positions are apparently identical. It's definately a T-series and has drum brakes. It's probably much easier to find a T-18 diff instead seeing as these will bolt in without mods and you can use the tailshaft for it as well. I think the RA60 diff carrier is slightly shorter than a T-series ae86 or t18 so a custom tailshaft will also be needed.
Eddie.
4agte finally finished. 252rwkw with more to come
I have an RA60 diff and was going to put it in my AE86. I was going to have to move the Upper Lateral Arms 30mm in or out to get the correct positioning. I didnt really measure anything to do with the Swaybar but yes, it gives you more track, and for me, having to play around to have the tyres at a nuetral setting, im starting to think ill just get a t18 rear end, even though the RA60 one cost me $0 and my T18 tailshaft cost me $0 to bolt up.
For now im just going to grab my previous locker from my S series, and have the bearings and seals replaced with something better. When using the S series with a locker my centre bearings always start making noise after awhile. Not just daily driving, it sees the track atleast once a month.
