old skool is the go!!!!!!!!
i have 16" on my car, fit fine, as they say each to there own, offset is important and you want plenty of rubber on the road!
old skool is the go!!!!!!!!
they would not fit on the car like in your photochop pic. they would sit further inside the car
They look alright in the photoshop. But my guess they won't really look like that in real life.
People on the board would probably say it was alright too if you said the rims were from Japan.
That said it's hard to tell. It looks like it could turn out ok, just not that great.
Check out the attached image of my old Sprinter. It had "modernised rims".
But most chances the rims you've pictured will have a bad offset where the wheels will fit too far inside the car. Not only will it affect the looks but also your handling.
thnx for the replies guys, u have been a great help
every one reccommends old skool rims like ssr's and the like, but the truth is they are hard to find and when you do find someone who has some they want ridiculous amounts of cash for them! i had 15 x 7 +12mm offset rims and they cost $792 exactly! you can get them in different finishes as well , gold, silver and black.
ozzy tyres are selling konig rewinds 15x7 0 offset and they look the goods, might wanna look into that
im running 14x7 0 offset and they scrub my gaurds like f#ck but i also heard tyres and the tyre wall are made different... anybody recommend any tyres?
14 inch tyres have "bulgy" sidewalls, 15 inch tyres have "squarer" sidewalls (for the equivalent outside diameter), this makes a pretty big difference to clearance.
20v KE70, what wheels did you get for $792 exactly? price is right for the right offset.
i have 185/60/r14's on 14x6's and they fit pretty well with low pedders springs
but will be upgrading to 15's soonish
