hey guys, got a couple of questions for yus. firstly how do you tell the difference between t-series s-series and jdm diffs as my car has rear discs which were on there when i bought the car but im not sure if its had the whole diff upgraded or just the s-series with discs.

secondly im not to sure where the proportioning valve for the rear brakes is located(i have a rough idea) so i can gut it to get the rear brakes performing. if anyone could post a pic of it that would be tops or just point me in the right direction. all help will be much appreciated

    cheers
    ryan

Would definantly be a T series, ive never every heard of or seen a S series with a disk brake setup, to tell what is what the S series should have 8 bolts on the housing while the T has 10

s series have 8 bolts holding the carrier to the housing. t series have 10.

these are the small bolts around the carrier you can see while looking down the tunnel towards the back of the car.

if its a skyline diff it wont have these at all. it will have an inspection plate on the opposite side.

yeah definatly not skyline diff, had to pull the centre out last year to get it rebuilt pretty sure it had 10 bolts but have to check when i get the chance. the reason i asked was when i bought the car i was told it was a jdm lsd diff but when i first tried some sideways action i realised it had no lsd and when i pulled it out it confirmed what i thought
