Yep they are the GP A cams
I also have a set of 20V TRD blank Cams so I can grind whatever profile I like.

Nah, I got the cams way before i got the bible.....

$1000 isnt alot to pay for head work actually. especially seeing as you need 20 valve seat cuts, not 16..

i do somewhat agree though, cams sound expensive.

throttles sounds a little expensive too. theres alot of that stuff on ebay usa.

im about to do a 7age myself (i understand youre ony using the block to get the better rod ratio). ill be paying more like $600 for my 7af.

sounds like an awesome build anyway.

Lets put it this way $1000 well spent considering the head now out flows a big port GP A head.

    The throttles are brand new,

That was the price of the cams some 6 years ago, which is when I bought them.

Once again I bought the whole engine 6 years ago, 7A's were not available then so to get one, you had to pay the price.

Yep my engine is still going to be 1600cc so it should be interesting to see what the torque & power will be like.

If your wondering why its taken so long to get the engine together, I had to find someone that could build the Titanium rods.

Holy freakin crap! that engine is going to be a monster.

What kind of power are you hoping for?

    also..

"FWIW my rebuild was $1000 on the dot. All work done by a professional."

Was that a full rebuild? I'm starting to consider it myself..

low k's 20v vs rebuild bigport, hm..

    Grant.
