I was pulled over once for speeding, but I had never recieved any other attention by police, they didn't even turn their heads. My car was mettalic orange with a loud exhuast. I drove conservitvly and I was never pulled over for an inspection in 2 years. Perhaps look at the way your driving before you criticise the police
They don't have much idea around here either..... the best one was when my brother's friend went speeding past a police car in his MR2, he lost them before they had a chance to get a good look at his number plate but they caught him a short while later, when they pulled him over he said "I don't know what you're talking about I've been at my mates place all night, I only just left there" one of the police officers felt the bonnet and said "he's telling the truth the engine is still cold"
I used to drive a '90 lancer and I used to get pulled over for "random breathe tests" all the time which was great because I was in a line of 10 cars once just driving nromally, in the middle of the group, the cop was going the other way, he spun around (over double lines) and started following us, I just drove down the street that leads to three other streets I have to go down to go home as thats where I was heading and he put his sirens on and full on gave chase even though I wasn't speeding or anything, he pulled up next to me and was all, hey random breathe test. Don't know how random it was. I don't even get looked at twice in my 86. but that may also be because i moved my P plates from next to my number plates on my lancer to in my window in the 86, so they are harder to see.

actully both my cars have missmatched wheels and i do drive at the legal speed most of the time hehe even though the spoontah has a locker i drive it as quietly as i can and NEVER make any turns around corners when there are police behind me... me and my g/f have even gone to the extent of getting out of the car and hugging each other untill the police drive off so they dont hear the locker hey i know it sounds stupid but the last 3 times its worked

a couple of mates and i were on a big cruise, at the last meet point the 5-0 showed up. my mates have both 87 honda accords, a copper comes over and checks the rear tyres to see if they had been doing skids, jokes on him they are FWD. accords are fantastic, they are a family sedan and they are FWD so i can see where the copper though they were RWD

A mate of myn was doing a bit of spirited driving around some back streets in his MR2 and got pulled over by a cop. They said pop the bonnet, so he did. The look on the cops face was priceless when all he saw was a spare tyre.
