    Hey guys

I'm having problems with my waste spark set up.
I'm using two bosch 008 ignitors and hyundi exel dual coil pack.
The system worked fine for two days, till I started tidying up the wiring ect.
After I did this the first to cylinders stopped firing properly, so I rewired the whole lot.
This didn't help so I've sent the ignitors and coil pack off the the electrition to get tested.

Has any one else had any trouble with this this sort of set up and can anyone recommed a better set up that doen't cost the earth.

i have a set of gen3 v8 coil packs they have built in ignitors and apparantly are very good for conversions, though i would say that wouldn't i!! if you can't sort the hyundai ones out (you should be able too they are commonly used in ze and 20v conversions) you can have mine for $100 delivered

Sounds interesting and with less messy wiring. Do these run wasted spark. Would I be able to run these with a wolf 3d v4? I can't see why not. I'll do some research! Then I might buy.

they are individual coils so i don't think they run waste spark like hyundai's do, just check with wolf and see if you can run individual coil packs.

Do they look easy to wire. eg: a point for computer signle, power and ground . Or are they more complicated.

Need more info on what you actually have, The 008 modules have inbuilt dwell control which is required for some aftermarket ECU's. The Chev/holden coils dont have dwell control so it may not suit your needs.

Please let us know what is controlling the modules.

Not sure if the wolf can drive modules without dwell control, I would contact them & find out. If they dont then one of the early mitsubishi have a small square ignition module that can drive the waste spark coils
