i think near the bottom they give u the 14pin pin outs
hey guys searched this but no love. so i was wondering on the 14 pin plug what wires are used and what can be chopped off and forgotten about. i know that plug has the main power to the ecu but i have no idea where to wire it and everything else. any help would be great
also my loom was custom made so there is no plug for the little black box "circuit open" ,part numbers 85910 - 30050 061000 - 0350. will my 4age run safely without this?
thanks in advance

I've only got 3 wires conected on the 14 pin plug.
14. Black(Purple?) /Red?
7 +B1 Black(Purple?) /Red
6 Batt Red/White
I think they just went to key.
Fuel pump runs off key.
Have no idea what to do for speed sensor but I think it'll just enforce the 180km/h speed cut if you put one in.
180kms will be inforced.
No speed sensor will also make the motor run slightly rich at idle and slightly lean higher in the rev range.
It will also rev cut lower then what it should, 7200rpm v's 7750rpm (approx rpms)
And the bloody check engine light will come on from time too time, depending on your driving style.
There is a way to find the speed sensor, on AE86's its on the back of the cluster, even the Aus-spec ones have it

Insert witty comment here....
You really should use the FC pin on that 14 pin plug to run your pump relay. Fuel pump off the key is dodgy.
Yeah, I'll fix it up now that I'm on uni holidays.
Steve, do you know whether the KE70/AE71 clusters have the speed sensor?
hey guys im wiring up my ecu as well and having some troubles with the idle-up computer. where is it and what is it i know how to read a wiring diagram and i have one for the 86 and 4age.
