Dot 3 Dot 4 it wont hurt anything, so that is fine. Was there fliud in the resivior? If not then it has leaked out for some reason, You say the fork is moving a little, well it shopuld move over an inch I suppose. I would have to say that at a guess the Master has gone, mine had done the same when I bought it.
