yeah it was a bit. but i had to get it in from japan. thats why...

its would cost the same to get your block o-ringed with a standard gasket. should have no worries then

Thickness will depend on what CR you want to run. If you're using a metal hg, it's a good idea to deck the block/head to ensure an even surface. When they do this, they shave a small amount off both the head and block... find out the exact amounts they take off and then get a hg to suit.

I'm using a HKS 1.6mm hg with 8.9cr GZE pistons but my actual cr is closer to 9.1:1 due to decking. I decided not to use the 2mm to keep better squish areas.

If you're looking for other brands, i think Cometic also have a mhg for a 4ag.

yeah i had my block decked and head faced twice.

so with the 2.0mm it probably wont alter the comp ratio heaps

i got genuine TRD 3 layer metal head gaskets for $88 delivered the more i ordered the lower the price.. cheapest i could get them 4 was $66.. but sadly didn't get a chance to order them as the TRD wholesaler doesn't do TRD parts anymore! lucky i scabbed a 0.5mm and a 0.8mm one..

yes cometic do a metal HG.. i used a 1mm one in my GZE.. i'd advised against getting a maaaaassive gasket.. just so you can run big boost and a big turbo.. rather get a turbo to suit your engine biuld.. not the other way round.. having a higher static CR and mild boost will give better torque and resopnse.. just not the wank factor of put your foot down.. wait... wait.... waaaaaait... woooooah!!! boost!
