yeah standard 16v, 20v if your keen
Hey guys, noob question sorry but i cannot use the standard flywheel for my ae101 4agze can i??
Was planning to just get a clutch to suit, but apparently different splines to a T50.
From the exedy book the standard flywheel measures 230mm
If so should i just go a standard 16v 200 or a 20v 212mm?
Cheers

Cool man cheers
212mm would be alot better to use.
i used 212mm on my old 86 and never had a problem,
some people using 200 have had problems with the clutch slipping and frying after only a few months.
you can make a ze fly work BUT its very ghetto, as you either have to space the bell back or let the flywheel run a groove in the bell housing
i run a 200mm and had no slip. if i didnt buy a brand new lightened fly wheel and clutch i prob would have gone 212mm just for some re assurance
stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?
I've had nothing but troubles with clutches and my 200mm set-up.
Will definately be going 212mm.
Qucik question.
All 4a's are 8 bolt fly's yeah? Just wanna know definately which motor to pull a 212mm off.
#A-FE is 6 bolt crank
4A-GE is 8 bolt crank
212mm flywheel is off smallport 16v, and 20v. Blacktop is lighter.
The GZE flywheel and clutch jams on a T50 bellhousing, but I know of people using it, and just let it hit and grind it's way to clearance.
Righto, think i might source out a 212mm flywheel... depending on the cost
Ive been running 200mm flywheel for two years and its really only started slipping when it got really bad lol
I just bought a 212mm flywheel off RollaClub for $30...not an expensive upgrade at all
