hey guys i was just wonderin what sort of economy would be expected from a gze with a haltech computer it seems that when the supercharger is on it really stinks of fuel iss this normal or really badly tuned

Economy is all in the tune.

You could well have a bad tune. However if it really smells of fuel, it may be more than just running rich. Take a close look at all your fuel hose and injectors.

Or take it to a mechanic and check the AFRs.

i think with a bit of a play with setting i would be getting more consistant 300km per tank. Its tuned to 125kw but is still running rich.

mine got on average of 10L/100kms.. i thought that was pretty good! considering both my 4AGE's get/got about the same.. but i spose it's cos you don't have to drive the 4AGE hard to put around town.. you can flex the muscles of the GZE with it's huge torque band..

Everyone bar Matty sounds like their fuel consumption is woeful. I basically never put more than 40litres in and I will do anywhere from 360-480km per tank (that's 100% booting it to 100% freeway). And that's aftermarket ECU (no lean cruise) and running reasonably rich on boost.

when myn was on the road,

exhaust, CAI, N/A Cams, FMIC and ABV mod (10 psi boost)

I was still getting 11km's to the litre, i was more then happy with this!

P.S i was getting MUCH better fuel economy with the S/C on!
