OK, I am only regurgitating what I have read on the net, so if you look round you may find it yourself.

However I heard that the 20V head will bolt onto the block no worries. The valves will clear the pistons too. However I am not sure if it becomes interference or not. I'd be interested to hear your results if you try it.

i've heard you need the 5 valve fly cut pistons.. which makes sense.. even the dished GZE pistons still have the cuts in them.. small ones..

Been looking for some info on the net, with no luck. The clearance for the valves is a concern.

its been done before. you would have to assume the 16v combustion chamber is larger though (wider valve angle) so the pistons would be higher for a given compression ratio. ie, if a 20v and 16v were bother 10 to 1 CR, the 16v pistons would have more volume/be higher, to achieve the same cr, as they need to "fill" more the combustion chamber.

so.. there is a definate chance it would be an interferance engine. you will probably end up with a bit more static compression when you swap to the 20v head. probably why they (20v/gze forced induction engines) go so good.

Just got the GZE, take it apart now. Will see how it goes.
