the panel beater should have insurance against that sorta stuff.. take it up with the police straight away.. don't stand for it.. i know here in queensland it's a huge fine to operate a bussiness without 3rd party insurance..

thanks for you kind support guys...

    ----

Even if the panel beaters does have insurance, the parts on the car are irreplacable...
but I'll speak to a few people, see what I can come up with.

but on a side note, does anyone wanna buy a sprinter shell with 4age and t50 gearbox??

it's been hit from the back, but I got parts to repair...

give me a PM, we'll organise something soon...

    It'll be very affordably priced.

I am definitely going to buy another sprinter though! for sure..

    thanks.
    Son.

dude, your goin about it the wrong way, i know its a big hit to have all that stuff stolen, but as everyone keeps saying the panel beaters are liable, it was in there possesion if they choose to store it in a public lot or what ever it is there responsibility, they have insurance or should have and despite what ever there tellin you they dont have a leg to stand on, you entrusted the car to them and they fucked up.
trueno panels are rear but not irreplasable, and like joel said replacement fibre glass panels are easy to buy.
chase it up dude, your being ripped.

    Yup I agree with slide....
the panels and parts are rareish and maybe cost a lil.
But it is still the panelbeaters problem insurnace/payout wise.
Unless you are in a bad circle of friends I swear someone at the panelbeaters had to leak the word to someone..... and if you suspect so, make them pay for JDM originals..... $1200 worth or whatever the going price is nowadays... FRP panels are shitloads easier to get and cheaper.

oh that is NOT cool, dude call the poh-leese, those guys'll sort u out (as much as i hate to say it, turns out the po po are useful at least somtimes)

dont consider trueno panels and ur computer and stuff irreplaceable.. they may cost a heap, but i'd be betting ur panel beater would be insured for alot more (at least they would be if they were smart.. if they have 10 cars in their yard and theres a fire or something, that could go upto (or past) half a million bucks or so)

definately hit up the poh-leese and see what they say... where abouts did this happen? melbourne?

    yeah, breaks my heart

    yeah in melbourne.

I haven't had the time to go to the police yet.. BUT i will, just so that they got it on record, and maybe deter these theives in the future.

I don't think that they'll get my panels or computer back.
What's more, my cars wiring loom is damaged, meaning to get the car on the road again, it'll cost ALOT.

The panel beaters, I bought the car to is a friends, so I don't think it was them. Insurance I can see being a long process, + i will only get the market value of an aus spec anyway in the best case scenario.

I am going to cut my losses, and think of it as a very nasty ride off.

But that's alright.. thanks for the support guys!!!

I will be behind the wheel of another ae86 again real soon, don't u worry. I am thinking real JDM this time!
