and if u get the car back together, it's gonna cost u nothing plus u will get more as someone WOULD buy a sprinter with all panels and 4AGE, whereas a sprinter with parts/ panels missing broken would be much more unlikely to be sold
pretty soon you will have to padlock your panels to your 86.
It sounds extreme, but i'm personally considering one-off lock nuts/bolts for my trueno front end. It's just what it's come to i'm afraid. ghey.

Grant.
How scared would they be to be chased through the mountains BY a trueno after stealing trueno panels?!![]()
Its hard to believe that someone who own's an 86, who knows the pricelessness of it, could possibly steal a whole front end!
It really puts me on the edge as my new front end is coming in from the US in a couple of weeks.
Good luck with everything shcao. I hope it all goes up hill from here.

Dudes, dont be dumb. If you claim it on YOUR motor vehicle insurance, it will get you market value of the vehicle. You should claim on THEIR company insurance, get a quote for replacement parts/labour etc from a couple of different souces and send the quotes together with a Letter Of Demand to the panel beater and their insurance company. This should get you the full value of the parts stolen and work required to fix it.
BUT for this to work you need to rempoprt it to the police ASAP. If you wait to long then they wont do anything for you.
Remember, your not going to the police to "get your stuff back" cos as you say, it may just end up being in a pile of paperwork. You are reporting the incident so you can say to the Insurance company "I have done everything in my power to resolve the situation, now pay up".
And you never know, if you report it, your report m,ight join a pile of paperwork about "a dodgy panel beater that steals parts off customers cars". the more info you can give the cops the better for you, the cops, and the rest of us.
what area did your parts get stolen from ?
obviously he is going to do something about it, but he can't just drop everything that he is doing...
maybe he just hasn't explained in detail

well from what i can remember is that one of sonns trueno pop ups had a minor defect...
and today i was meant to pick up a pair of trueno headlights from a import wrecker, as it happens to have got sold today...
it could be our guy... but too bad now that sonns decided to let it go for now..
if that fvcker can read this... for your own safety... i hope you end up sellin those parts away from victoria.. and if you have attached it to your car consider it blacklisted among us real ae86 enthusiasts.. a trueno is not hard to spot among a crowd of cars... and some of us do know what those parts looked like..
