old corolla radiator supports

hey everyone,

im waiting for my letter to officially say my t18 is written off. and im stil deciding whether to sell it or fix it myself. now ive had a closer look and it only seems to me like the radiator support is the only non bolt on panel damaged. i was wondering if anyone knew if any other model corollas supports will go in easily seeing the wreckers may not exactly want to cut the front out for me cheaply. does anyone have any advice of going about fixing it? like what id need from a donor car and where i can get them from.

take a hack saw to the wreckers, and cut the radiator support of a T-18 yourself (you should probably ask first) but i doubt they'd care if you did, and they'd probly give it to you cheaply

lol well that sounds easy. is there anything special which needs to be done when replacing, like in terms of the way its repaired for road worthiness and stuff. i assume cut and just weld the new one in is good enough.
