Im considering getting a sprinter with a 4ac in it...
Just wondering what sort of fuel consumption 4AC drivers are getting ?
I was hoping it would do better than my current car (2005 Astra) which gives 450kms to a 50l tank.
Also does anyone run 91 RON regular unleaded in their 4ac and how does it go?

doing a 110-120 on the highway with A/C on i was still getting 630km's / tank
havent had a chance to see what the new car does around town
I was surprised with the 4AC economy - not to shabby, a welcome relief with fuel hitting $1.37/litre at times.
Getting about 12km/ltr or 8.3 Litres per 100km
While on the topic of fuel. I swear that my 4AC is pinging under heavy acceleration.
All my other cars have been Turbos and I know what pinging sounds like but why would a NA engine be pinging?
Did you manage to find out what the pinging was?

i think the tank is close to 40 liters and i get about 300-350ks at a full tank bad fuel\c and lack of power i pray for the day i finish getting all my parts together and put my small port in
a 2005 astra only does 450 from 50l....thats pretty bad....

But a guy whos car im looking at seems to have a nice car, but he says it only does 400kms to the tank (4AC) with Premium...
Does everyone run premium in their 4AC?
