when it was on the road tho it got like 7 - 8 litres 100kms.

Did you manage to find out what the pinging was?
most 4ac's i hear ping down low...
mostly driven by women who leave them in 3rd and try to accelerate....

i run my on 95 ron, i get about 450-500kms to a 50L tank (yeah thats right 50L says so my ae86 owners manual)....
as i work the pizza the hut as well, i do a lot of driving, and it seems to last about 6-7 days...
