Jason (drft86 on these forums) runs 25mm bolt on's for the front no problem. that should be quite a good bit of extra track for you
theyre expensive tho![]()
I have been thinking of increasing the track of my Levin with bolt on wheel spacers but want to know if it is going to put to much stress on the hub and wheels, now i have 14x7 rims with +2 offset??
or is this a act the same as pissing in the wind??
these are the type i was thinking of purchasing...

i wanna know about the back also
try and get hub centric ones to take some stress off the studs
please explain..
If you want to increase track, use longer control arms. It's not the best idea to use bolt on spacers for the additional track width. Have a look at the size of ae86 front wheel bearings... they're not big at all.

Like these...
They centre the spacer on the hub so all the load is not translated through the wheel studs.

i already have longer control arms eddy and camber tops
really wanna pump out the rear
its fine. how wide are the spacers. you said you have plus 2 offset wheels. if theyre 25mm then you have an effective offset of -23.
though not "common" there are a good number of cars in japan (and a few here) that run that offset on the front and the back.
ants wheels are -21.
if its on the back and you have a jdm rear axle its even less of an issue. the wheel bearing is huge.
i will accept that it does put more stress through your stub axle/bearings. but i very highly doubt it will fail. (im not going to say wont, but thats what i "think")

Although there are cars that get around on these sorts of offsets, they're usually massively wide as well and need this sort of offset for proper suspension clearance. Eg xr4s that are 9" wide need about a -20ish offset to fit a sprinter properly. I'd try to aviod having that sort of offset on slimmer wheels.
Fully agree on the JDM rears though. The bearings are fat monsters and could probably handle much more load than the fronts.
