3sgte is a huge amount of work. we just did a gen2 into 86 with programable, front mount, puck clutch, 4 coil on plug ignition conversion. its was $8500, and that is a bullshit cheap non repeatable deal.

ra60s are the live axle version, theyre not that heavy. a gze would go ok... i would consider it though only if you could get an AA63 cross emeber (not going to happen).

we can sell you a 1 ggte/gze fitting kit for your ra60 pirce is $350. we did the 1ggte ra65 matty was talking about. requires a decenet amount of hammering back the fire wall. but gets the engine nice and far back and low.

i would put an sr in it. sue me.

p.s ra60s ARE worth bothering with. if i wasnt an 86er from way back i would definately consider one. theyre cheap, look good (better with the 65 front) stiffer than an 86, and probably better for high speed shit.

on the 60 even more so that the 65, all 86 mods will work pretty much work.

its t series so lsd is easy. axles are way more common than t18...

    DO IT.

can you use a 4agze crank angle sensor off on a 3sge?
    or is the gearing different?

how do i get in contact with anthony about one of these DLI converters
and can an auto electrician or some other shop make these as well?

    thanks

the 1g fitting kit is engine mounts and brackets and an exchange on your gearbox grossmember (we modify it)

ok, we've managed to locate a lot of stuff to do the 3s conversion, engine mostly converted to RWD (exhaust, inlet manifold etc) and have worked out where to get the SA63 bits as well to mount the engine.

I'm just wondering about this DLI converter, so we won't have to bash the firewall. The plan is to run a microtech, so it wont matter about not using the original dizzy, just something to give the ECU a crank angle signal.

Also might want to make some oil lines draining oil from head back to sump as the angle will be changed (from going fwd to rwd) the oil won't drain back to the sump properly. Also make extra baffles in the sump too perhaps due to the same reasons.

The gen 2 3sge's seem to shake a bit too, so maybe just make sure anything hanging has good/extra support [ie. exhaust/extractors, inlet manifold]

extra oil drains dont seem to be neccesary.. if its a gen 2 you have you wont need the dli converter if youre going to use microtech. just take the cap off and remove the rotor button. then buy one of our billet dizzy covers. if you look in the link at the top of the page, the "20v rwd conversion parts" youll see the dizzy cap we make for 20vs. the 3s one looks identical only the bolt holes are in a differant place. we have ones for gen 2 3s in stock. $55.

are the gen 2 heads shorter?
also the water outlet on the back of the head should be ok shouldn't it?
just run water hoses round the front of the car, like on a 20v conversion?
