well theres no difference between can and gun is there? except the ammount of paint and constant pressure i guess.
PS i'll get u the contact info soon![]()
^^ and the consistancy of the whole thing, guns dont tend to spurt at random intervals, they don't lose pressure, they spray the same amount of paint all the time, it makes for a more even job..
cans will work, but like everyone has said.. prep is the big thing, you spend ages on prep and only a couple of hours (if that) actually waving the gun around.
Theres hollywood in Lansvale. they do pretty good jobs and dont charge sh*t loads.
Its on hollywood rd![]()
yea i personally would never spray a whole car with a can, only for touch ups.
I couldnt find a listing for this place.. got a contact no?
cheers![]()
I am doing my pig 86 in spray cans. As I fix the rust in panels and bogging up bad bits, just doing a panel at a time. It will turn out ok. I did the last silvia I owned in Panda using spray cans. As everyone has said, its all in the prep work. Also using decent quaily spray cans helps too.
You did a panda yourself!?How did you get the definition (line between white and black) to be good?
Got any pics ?
and this is an interesting read.. has inspired me to do it myself
Sorry mate I dont have any pics of that car on my computer. It was only done really dodgy, I am not talking a professional spray job. Having said that, it turned out really well and did look very pro. The car was already white so it was a matter of masking up where I didnt want to spray black and just spraying it. It turned out really well.
