    No worries mate, love keeping the old 4ac's going hard, lol

    The 4ac would probably only need a 2 inch system, but if it's only temporary and you were using a 4age in the future I would go 2 1/4. A 2 1/2 might be too big for a 4ac and make it real sluggish down low. That said I'm just pulling this from work I've done on other cars, but it should be applicable to the mighty 4a motors

    yea the snorkel off was pretty good..i didnt block the other line though..got alittle bit more response out of it..

    ive decided to make a box that will sit on top of the carby with a 4inch inlet then im going to make the pipe go down sit in the bottem left were the vertex bars have an opening im gonna put pod filter right there cold air intake sounds good to me cant go wrong all stainless mandrel bends high air flow and cold air intake will cost me nothing and labour well im making it so freebies on to a 4ac sound good

    I had a 32/36 DGV Webber on my old 4AC, had enough power to kick the arse out slapping second in the dry with 15x8's. Lawson can vouch on the effectiveness of these webbers on 4AC's.

    man if you are going to that much trouble and using stainless you may as well do a turbo set up

    as for webers it was sik as for $50

    its not alot of trouble with the stainless because welding is easy plus materials free cant go wrong and this weber setup were can i get one from or does anybody wanna sell one to me?

    Those webers came standard on 6 cylinder xd-xf falcons and I think 6 cylinder Cortinas?

    Finding one at the wreckers shouldn't be too hard, seen them used on a few fwd 4ac's round my place, they go well, you will just need to knock up an adaptor plate.

    sweet but im ovr thst idea lol i just started my cold air intake today i finished the box too adapt to the carby now got to do the 3inch pipe work for the pod to the front thanks (course out) for the help
