a roll cage can anything from a rice up attachment to the main support of a car, it all depends on what design and what its made from.
hey all im looking for people with caged cars. i wanna know a few things. can u's give me your opinions on them. how much weight do they add? how much they worth? how much stiffer was your chassis after you added it? is it worth it? is it just worth seem welding n forgetting about the cage? basically any info you can give me would be great. thanx all![]()

plenty of cage threads, have a search u will find my cage in there somewhere, its pretty extreme + fully welded. tho i havent had it on the track yet,
When the bolt-in cage was in mine, jacking up one corner would cause both wheels on that side to lift off the ground fairly evenly. Without the cage, only one wheel lifts up.
a cages primary purpose is to protect during roll over....stiffness is luckily a bi product
unless the car is actually a tube frame, then the roll cage is the car...
and most bolt in cages are lame..mat713, bozo, sprinter trd etc etc have real cages...
