Normally Dad and I take a blanket/tarp and leave our tools etc on that. The pits are normally a friendly place!

    hi mate ..

good to hear more sydney ppl going to the track .

which track you headed ? what event ?

the pit area imo is the most safer then a car park or even my drive way lol .. just remeber every driver there is also there to have a good time .. everybody respect each other . thats what i reckon .

i would try get there early and setup my gear . stack my tyre up and leave my tools next to it . no one will touch it . i even leave my keys in the car most time.

inregards to fuel. it will depend on the event. drifting/skid pan and being a first timer .. i say no more then half a tank is more then enough . full tank to be on the safe side... grip driving i say the same and mayb bring a cherry can just in case. Oh yeah factor in petrol to go home .

    tools :
    a decent socket set
    set of open end spanner
tin of screw driver and pillars and what not .
-dont forget the cable ties .
