Does your car rattle and creak alot?

Everyone probably has or wants to do up their car so that its looks and drives great.
All the money goes into mods, nice paint job, wheels and exterior, new seating etc...
But how close to NEW can it get?

For example my car is in good mechanical condition. But theres always rattling noises, creaks and squeaks when driving it that really give the cars age away.
Its a headache to locate every source of noise and probably costly to fix. doors, windows, plastics etc..
Its almost embarrassing when I show people my car.

I was wondering how many people really have a car thats near new and has the interior comfort and noise levels like a 1-5 year old car?
That is : pretty quiet cept for engine, exhaust etc..

hahaha thats funny.. i can hear creaks and twist and rocks flicking up and road noise, etc etc in my 86.. but the lovely chorus of a 16V with quads just gets me all excited, and all the other noises just seem to go away that and that awsome diff whine that sounds like a straight cut gearbox

Mate, my car drives like new - No squeaks (apart from cold brakes), No rattles, no nothing.

Only 2 things that it does i made it do - Exhaust sounds crap cause i took it off and when i put it back on didn't silicon it up, and the gearbox whine is audible because i took the sound deadening out.

    Grandpa spec mate.

You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?

My car bumps, creaks, whines and everything. But yeah, engine and exhaust noise and the feel of a stiff car kinda blanks all that out.

Mine creaks and cracks and stuff but the exhaust is pretty loud so it drowns most of it out and if that doesn't, my music is usually pretty loud.
