i had an idea of turboing the 4ac (when i get it in) but that was going to be far too costly

i have had another idea. stuff turbo, its too expensive, what about supercharger (it maybe cheaper). i could just grab one off of a 4agze, make up some custom mounting brackets, lower the compression, run some piping, under drive it to prevent 4ac killage as soon as i turn the key. supersharger scream!!

    costs
    s/charger $150-200
    intercooler $50
    piping $50
    massive thick h/g $30??
    pulley thing $20
    = $250-300

turbo was going to cost aprox $800!!
offcourse there is the bigport 4age option again $850 minimum

i think this will be a much more viable option than the last. i know that a 4age would be best and i would rather i 4age(i think) the any old crappy 4ac. the thing is i would be willing to push the 4ac harder i would a 4age. i would tend to baby a 4age but a 4ac it would be all on...

    oh and some more questions

    1) would a gze s/c be the best option? they seem cheap
    2) how do you control the boost? im asuming with the pully sizes
    3) do the boost vary like a turbo or dose it stay the same although the rpm?
    4) do s/c have a thing in em to reduce to boost when you get off the throttel? (compressor bypass i think) how would i get on if it is surpost to run 12psi and you want to run 8psi? would you be able to ajust? it dont surpose it works like a turbo wastegate?

any comments/sergestion/answres to my questions would be aprecated

    thanks

dooooooo it... for a bit more strength... maybe consider a bigport bottom end? extreamly cheap to come buy... rings and bearings you can get for anout $150-$180 and put the 4AC pistons on the 4AG rods.. i haven't tried this.. or pulled one down to have a look if it would work.. so try it..
