    Hey..

I'be found myself in a little situation .. which i need to get some help from the owner of a JDM hachi.
The situation is.. Im after a pully that goes on the front of my water pump. not any old pully will do. it has to be a factory JDM water pump pully.

now ihave done some digging around and i think i may have foudn the part number for this pully, however Im not 100% sure if its right.. and its the part i need.

So what i need is some help from a jdm owner.
I am trying to track down an identicle replacement for this pully..
by doing this im going to need all the sizes and mesurments .. and offset?? .. of this pull.. basically anythign and everythign you guys can supply me to make my search easier.

i must stress that the sizes must be off a genuine JDM AE86 RWD 4AGE (16v) Trueno [or jdm levin]
the reason for this is simply because the NON jdm/rwd 's have a different size pully.

    Thanks in advance

    Monk

u could just use the fwd water pump and put a remote thermo fan or something

this is true... a RWD 4age has the poly rib pully has a different offset.. when using a rwd 4ac/4ag water pump (samething) you need to use a rwd 4age pully.. fwd pully on a rwd waterpump will make it dead center in the middle of the 2 row crank pully..

spacer won't work..buy putting in a spacer you will run it off the front of the crank pully..unless you make some form of idler tension pully setup or modify the braket of your altenator to move it forward to run them all on the front of front crank pully, it just won't work.. and most 4age crank pullys are stepped.. so you'll be under driving your accesories.. which isn't such a bad thing.. but yeh..

    Ill pm you about that

nah after a rib pully as im runnign a RWD water pump (see below to understand)

yeah I was considering this but ive decided to go with a neater method

If i cant get the pully ill look into running a RWD water pump as i have a FWD pully here

the part number i got was '16371-ae801' .. however i dont think its a factory part number .. i got it off 86-drifter who he got it out of the levin/trueno bible
