sup man thanks for the speedy reply,

well i was just wondering how hard they are to get, as in the UK not many people know what a AE86 appart from the difters etc... dont know of any company as far as i know that do parts for them. mainly all from US, AU and JAP.

just service parts to start off with really, if i come across something need replacing... ie. cams, rims, gearbox, engine?! then move onto some performance parts.

but slowly but surely D1 etc drifting is taking off in the UK big time

they are one of the easiest cars to get parts for!

they are a corolla, so they are the longest running series of cars...

4a motors were FUCKING popular, so EVERY shop should have oil filters, gaskets, plugs, points etc all that, most shops should even stock replacement pistons etc

the chassis, well most of the suspension and moving parts are shared with other toyotas, so bushes, wheel bearings, brake pads, tie rod ends etc are all easy to get

panels, lights, hard to find in some cases, but toyota still makes 80% of the removable parts new, so as long as your wallet is deep you will have no problems!

    have fun!

EDIT: and as for performance parts, the world isnt quite your oyster, but with a bit of searching and the right contacts its easy, most parts are still available new out of japan

petty much what i was going to say

just remember the corolla is the most mass produced car in the world, 4A series engines were in rollas from 1983 up until 1998 or 1999 (someone correct me on this if im wrong)
