Hey guys,

im in a bit of a dilema bout what to do with my car.

it has a locked diff. i recently bout a t18 rear end with the intension of getting an lsd centre.

The problem is if i get the lsd centre i wont be able to aford a half cage and my dad wont let me on QR until i have one.

So what should i do?

Drive with the locker and get a half cage so i can get on track or wait and do the lsd thing.

Put the conventional rear end in and buy a cage. Lockers are bad news (and illegal), especially if you drive it on the road. You will have just as much fun racing that and save up for a LSD for later.

and on 2nd thoughs yeah just run a locker for now.

why dont you make your own cage all you need is tube steel and a welder

why does ur dad say you have to have a cage? AASA and CAMS dont require it.. they are companies with huge safety requirements and such?

and how much for a half cage????? should i get a cams approved one?????

mark i know how mucj your iching to get out on track, so i would say get your cage in ASAP, and save up for LSD after.

lockers are ok for the street, just avoid the cops . There are alot of old schoolers that crusie around with minispools to this day. You just need to worry about it in the wet, its all fun from there
