    yeah i was pretty sure that it would come out the same way, i was just wanting to know if it is easier to swap a clutch with just take the box out or with taking the whole engine out lol.

    Bustin 86, slap ur friend....just drop the box to change the clutch, machine the flywheel aswell will cost $25-50

    good write up brenton

    as for the clutch question, make sure the clutch is alligned properly 1st otherwise the gearbox spline wont fit in and youll b holding a gbox trying to force it in for ages getting stressed out

    hey mate

    nice write up.. buh can i ask how did u get to the top right bolt ( drivers) im doing that atm following ur guide.. i can seem to get to that bolt.. any tips?

    Need to use a socket and ratched for that one, its the hardest, i placed the socket on to the bolt first then attach the ratchet. The socket will also need to be quite short. The rest are easier with a ring spanner.

    you have an ae71 gearbox crossmember not a big deal, just noticed is all.
