ive used ae86 front springs on my ae71 and ke70 the seat is a little smaller, but dont worry about it IMO. they sit in there, its just really close, i wired them down to the seat just in case too.

Thats actually the problem, the Falcon king springs i used with my AE86 struts in the poast sat much like you describe......so therefore with the smaller KE spring perch they most likely would drop straight over the perch lol.
I am so surprised no one has done this before.....i would have thought lots of people would want to keep the cost as low as possible when dealing with a KE.
