    Hey all,

Not sure how interested everyone would be but seeing as i have to design a custom pair of RCAs for my car, i figured someone else would need a pair as well. Here's the design...

They'll be CNC machined, 40mm thick and made from T6 6061 Aluminium. They follow the exact base of your strut casing and i've made them with a locating ring for the base of the strut as well. I've only taken material out where it needs to be removed so these should be much stronger than off the shelf items.

Costs will be determined by how many people want in. Just as a guide:

    5 people: $195
    10 people: $155
    20 people: $135

Please note, i'm not making any money out of this but the more people i can get, the cheaper it becomes to get my pair These prices also dont include customs tax so if we happen to get docked... there will have to be a 10% addition to the price. The RCAs would come to me 1st in Sydney and then be posted out which wont be any more than $10. Register your interest here. Cheers guys.

    Eddie.

    List added.

For those wondering what these do, they eliminate bump steer and restore the suspension geometry back to near standard on lowered cars. These are one of those "why didn't i get these sooner?!?!?" type mods The car feels totally different over bumpy roads.

Performance fabrications in caringbah make these, $130 for the pair, they make them up in batches and then wait until that batch is gone, make another batch. Quality of all their work is second to none. Ph.95257227

I realise you can get cheaper off the shelf RCAs but their designs are generally built for cost effectiveness. Hence most of them are symmetrical for easier machining. I could get them manufactured cheaper if i left out the upper locating rings and simply slotted in collets but this way is better. Here's the reason i need the ones i've designed:

As i said, if i can get enough people in, you can get a pair of better, stronger RCAs for almost the same price. Even if this group buy doesn't go through, i'll be ordering my own set anyway.
