    hey all just wondering if any of you guys own or have one of these installed on your spritner. i dont get how you would install?

    dummy it up, mark your holes, drill them out, bolt brace to body.

    thanks guys. sounds good. funny enough raceflo emailed me the instructions aswell. ( havent checked my email in while, and i just did)

    seems a bit dodgey to be drilling anywhere near the shock mount...I wouldnt do it

    1 hint, think about where ur rear shock r as it will make it hard to unscrew your shocks if it it directly over the top of em!

    all rear strut bars i have seen for the 86 other that the aspec one that bolyts between the seat latches, have to have holes drilled to fit, pretty easy, just make sure u get the biggest diameter washers that will fit ur screws and space u have, for the biggest size screws u can fit in the holes as it will help the bolts distribute the pressur evenly and reduce the chance of breaking them,

    plus u may want to get some nyloc nuts, as they r near impossible to come loose, plus add some filler/no more gaps etc on the washer in ur mudgaurd as it will help prevent dirt getting in ur car!

    hhhhhmmmm welding ....... another option i guess. does drilling weaken the body???

    those rear strut brace racespec is selling, you gotta drill holes in it too.
