You have to use the whole GZE engine loom and wire in stuff like alternator etc. from your 4AC stuff. A lot easier to go aftermarket.
Just a Question What WIRING do you use on the 4agze. Adapt the 4ac wiring to the 4agze or use everything from the 4agze?? If anyone has done it???

A quick inspection of your 4AC will show about 10 wires leading to your engine.
From the top of my head:
- 2 to carby. Unplug and forget about these.
- 5 in a black plug attached to the firewall. 2 for reverse light switch, 1 for oil pressure, 1 for water temp and 1 for starter signal. These all should be reattached to the new engine, though only the starter signal is REALLY needed.
- A few to the alternator. This gets a little tricky as the 4AC has an external regulator, while the ZE has an internal regulator. However it has been discussed before and really isn't too hard to change over. A look at a wiring diagram will explain it too.
Everything that is needed to run the engine should just come out of the ZE loom.
Good luck
