    Hey all,
I have recently noticed my rear quarter windows in my AE86 starting to leak on rainy days. I have recently got this repaired by going to a window store where they totally removed the glass resealed it and placed new clips that hold the window and trimmings of the AE86. Today I went for a drive (which is the rainy day since repair) and the window is still leaking. The water is slowly dripping down near where the passenger seatbelt coloum is. Does anyone know what could be going wrong here?

I was watching the fellows doing this repair and it seemed like there were doing a good job so I am stuned to see it was leaking again.
Thanks for the help in advance
    Eddy

ae86 hatches suck, stupid designed things, mine does it too
I even think with new seals still do it

go drift style, get fibroglass one and perpex sheet and pop rivet it down with a seal under the rivets
Got wieght reduction and your hatch with neva rust out or leak again

    hey Kravit,
Thanks for the reply. It isnt the hatch it is the rear quarter windows. There is no rust there as the car has been respayed. I am just totally stumped on how water could get in when it has been resealed with all new trimmings and window clips.

Water is getting inside the window thru the little hole that the window clips use on the body.

By the sounds of it they didnt know what they were doing and either didnt replace the clips seals or didnt use the seals at all.

Take that shit back and say fix it 'Now MuthaFukrs"

P.S use that last part at yoru own discretion.

    Haha lolz Stevo,
Yeah i was actually thinking it was those holes. Ill take it back and get the fuckers to fix it. Do you know if those holes that go into to the clips go through inside the cabin? Like the leak is heaps delayed. For example if i sprayed my car with water it would take like an hour for it the seep through. Although Ill have to go through to the place again get it fixed and hopefully they dont brake the clips when they removed the trimmings.
    Thanks Dude
