Thread: tyres for 14x7 rims

    hey guys i am buying some 14x7 rims and i need advice for some sports tyres.
    mid range tyres are my preference.
    it seems hard to find tyres for 14inch rims now. any helo is appreciate.

    id get something with the size like 185/60/r14 or 195/60/r14

    also depends on your wallet

    ^^^Good choice genkin...

    I have found tho that 185/55s on the front are quite low and being a smaller diameter actually decreases the cars handling abilities unless you run them all round. Too little diameter on the steer, and the front end will push harder and tend to oversteer.

    I'd go 185/60 front and 185/55 rear, and yeah Potenza G3's FTW.

    yeh i can reccomend the G3's.
    Really good tyre, amazing what a decent tyre does for your handling.

    as said above 185/60 and 195/60 are the more common sizes, most manufacturers should have a tyre in their range

    and joel, i will do some back to back 'tests' when i put the 60's on the front

    I have 2 sets of the same size for drift rims an its getting hard especially to find good 2nd handies. I run 175/65r14 but thats for slip not grip
