Are you running your surge tank in the boot ? or under the car.. i fitted mine in the boot and i am slowly starting to regret it.. So much fuel fumes mate

Just won these rims off Yahoo Auctions Japan so i gotta thank Ken from Infinite Autosports first :2thumbs:
They look abit rough but after some TLC and lots of elbow grease they should look mint.
Size is 15 x 8 with a -16 offset.
***********EDIT: They are SSR's if anyone was wondering**************

new wheels will sit nicely
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (hara_kiri @ Jul 29 2008, 05:22 PM) </div>Cheers dude.
It's still not quite how i'd like it to be, still a bit messy, but it was built for skids and not show so i guess i'll put up with it![]()
I'm hoping they sit nicely and i'm pretty sure i wont have to flare the guards. :2thumbs:
have u got stock guards??
i reckon you might need to hammer them a bit out, even with skinny tyres
depending on height of the car id say u will need to flare em ay
i have 15x8.5 0 on front with bolt on guards and s13 coilovers (extra track)
14x9-19 rear with f series diff (extra track) with bolt on guards
so id say u will need to flare em a tad man, much better then having them sit in the guards tho

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (hara_kiri @ Jul 29 2008, 05:45 PM) </div>hahaaaaaa. Thats where my shortend diff axles come into play. I have an F sereis diff out of a MS112 Crown that has had the axle's shortend to suit the custom 17 x 9.5 Simmons rims that were originally on there :whistling:
Picked up rims today from Ken as was pretty happy with them. Only weigh about 4 kg's each and don't need as much TLC as first thought.
Went home to trial fit them on . . . . . don't fit  The calipers hit on the back of the rim as there isn't much of a mounting face on the back. Not to worry though as dad is gonna machine me up a slip on spacer that you won't be able to notice unless you take the wheel off.
Where the rim is gonna sit once done. I think it sits dead on flush with the edge of the guard :2thumbs: You can see the 20mm slip on spacer in the second pic which is still too small, so the spacer is gonna be about 26mm thick

Cleaned the rims up today ready to be polished. Came up really good and i only needed to use P1200 wet and dry. Tried to polish rims with Brasso but it's gonna take too long so i'm gonna buy a linishing attachment.
Will have polished rim pic's up on Friday.
************Centre piece doesn't come out either as it has been welded between the two halfs of the rim**********************
