Thread: Getting tires removed from rims?

    Cant find my L-Z yellow pages anywhere, as I want to ring some local tire joints to see what they will charge me to have 4 tires removed from a set of rims.........

    If anyone knows the usual cost of this procedure then please let me know...

    we charge $15 each to fit and balance. so shouldnt be any more than $5 each probly even less. some places migh even do it for nothing.

    dude wtf? obviously you dont drift much yet

    Just go to any local tyre shop, there should be heaps, and get them to remove the tyres. Ask to take the removed tyres with you if you want to get them removed for free, or they will charge the $5 as a disposal fee!

    exactly, I dont drift much....... plus Im hardly driving my car as I rarely have a license....... but thats another story....

    yeh and want to keep the tires... so just go to a few places and find anywhere that will do it for nothing....

    sounds good........

    all I needed to know....

    expect to pay about $20-25 for all 4 done, and then u take tyres with you, best not to go in looking like a total tight ass or they might tell you to piss off...

    I took 4 rims with tires and my new ones i bought and they swaped the tires and balenced them for $28.

    yeh thats about the price I was expecting...... didnt believe I could get em done for nothing... but you never know your luck.....

    ahah, fuck yellowpages online..... cbf....
