my 13's cost me $700 which was expensive but looked fat as

    15 x 7 and 8's are just under the $1000 mark i think 7's are about $100 cheaper than the 8's

any good tyre shop should be able to get them for you. performance wheels is an aussie company, they sell a lot of gay wheels, but superlites are hot!

there are 2 types as well an 8 spoke and a 10 spoke, get the 8 spoke

    what about sizing..
Does anyone have any pics of 14" watanabe on a sprinter?
Are 14"s big enough or 15"s the go?

Where do you get centre caps/badges for watanabes?

Also will 14" or 15" make a huge difference in the weight and ease of turning on a non power steering car? My car with 4ac is slow enough already with stocker rims.

there's a guy in perth who is the australian dealer for watanabes, if anyone wants his details i can dig them up for you, just pm me, i log in once every couple of months lol. i was looking into getting some for my car, but for 3.5g+ for 16X9.5 -15ish and 16X8.5 -6ish, around that size, i decided not to, (+ another $500 for centre caps and correct watanabe nuts) although ofcourse they are forged instead of cast so probably worth it over superlights. they have have 16" 8 spoke superlights in 7" and 8" now, around 260-280 each, and rota are also making a konig copy

after looking at all these options, and also importing some 17" second hand rs8 watanabes in +40ish offset and having shells made for them to make them the width and offset i needed, i decided to buy some ROH 3 peice, at just under 2g they have the advantage that if u hit a gutter its around $150 to get the outter section remade, and as they are local u can actully get the parts!

check out my thread in my sig for pics of my watanabes.. they are 14x7 0-3 offset. i havent had to do any guard modification even with 5mm spacers. 14's are more than good enough, a lot of d1 ae86's do so.

i got 15*8 neg 9 offset under stock guards but need front camber tops to do it and lip the rears only certain brands of tyres fit without rubbing its sits bout 10 to 15 mm off the bumpstops so its reasonably low

well since i was asked to find the details i thought i may as well just post them so i dont have to keep going back to it

has the details, but here's a copy and paste

turns out they aren't as expensive as i remember being quoted, although i was after rs8's not type r's...however i guess they are a single peice wheel and 16" rubber is a pain in the ass

I think Watanabes are prob more expensive than I can afford.
Might look at the Superlites, even 2nd hand.

how much do the superlites weigh? Would a set of Superlites 15x7's weight less than ADM stockers?
