just wondering if the vl pump i hooked up will be good enough for the 4agte or will i need a lift pump and does it mater if its has to push through the fuel filter,ive done some searthing but havnt seen were the fuel filters are. its turning over but not starting then battery sounds flat but it isnt(is this a timing problem)
if you are running a 4AGTE i would recommend using a lift pump and surge tank. have the surge tank feeding the vl pump. you can get bigger intank pumps that suit your application, but due to the fact there is minimal internal baffling in the tank you can still pick up air when the fuel level is low or when you are cornering hard. not such a big deal for a N/A motor but you do not want to lean out a turbo'd engine.
