wiring troubles (rsm and safc)

hey peps

i have a 4age bigport with a jap spec ecu and was wondering if any one could giv me the coulers to use from wich unit to wire to wich wires on the ecu

if that makes sense

iv tryd to download the instructions ect but have had no luck in nuting it out

any way

any help is greatly appreciated

u need both the instructions and user manuals. read the instructions to find which pin u need to splice and go from there.

seriously its not that hard. Even for me, i absolutly hate wires and ill be putting in an rsm real soon

well i have the old scool safc and it is wired in atm now i can coppy all the wires it has there but i need to know wether to use AFpressure in/out or AF in /out

and compared to the old one the new one has probly 10 extra wires

have you got the manual ?? or any one able to scan in the egzact pages i need???

RSM wont work unless you have the speed sensor hooked up too the cluster.

Pointless doing the rsm till you have that bit sorted out.

And i would have to assume most 4age conversion into adm cars would'nt involve the speed sensor being hooked up.

But thats easily done.

but as from what i understand everything thats in my car once apone a time resided in a jap hachi

so will it have the sensor any were besides behinde the speddo ???

what fkn16v said, wire up the rsm to the ecu but u NEED to wire the speed sensor in to the back of the cluster.

shouldnt be too hard...well not as hard as putin in another speedo cable

update

ive got 2 user manuals for the rsm and one wiring diagram. AFAIK both early and later versions have the same wiring.

black = ground
yellow = revs
red = ign
orange = constant
purple = speed

these are the only wires you need to hook up. purple goes to the speed output behing the cluster, red goes to b+, orange goes to batt, yellow goes to either of the igniter input/output and you know where black goes

does anyone have a scan of the ke70 dash cluster electrics? i need to know aswell
