I have 3 engine choices that im looking at going to
1)sr20
2)ca18
3)RB20
All have their pro's and cons.. and all have been done before. - im just looking for cheap power. $$$$

Just to let you all know that there is a good thing about Shannons Car insurance.
As most of you would know by now.. we all spend heaps on our sprinters.. Ive spend over $18,000.00
So have now got Race Car insurance through these guys.... i pay about $30 a month.. and i know that if my car gets stolen, burnt or wreck on the way to the track on the back of a car carrier.. im gaurentee'd to get $22,000.00 cash back.
thats not a bad deal for $30 a month a peace of mind.

RB20: I'm actually gonna call the men in white coats. The block is another 1/3 longer than a 4a and about twice as heavy or something (that's an exagguration, but you get the point)
If you put an RB in your sprinter i'm gonna go buy you a hungry jacks kids meal, so i can crown you understeer queen.
Same goes for a 1G
SR20: Decent choice. Despite what everyone says about crossbreeding n shit, the SR is a good motor, although they sound like shit. And there is also VERY strong aftermarket support for them.

however I have seen the rb20 in the 86 beofre and when setup correctly with s13 suspension and some decent heavy springs and the right abount of camber etc... the amount of understeer is not that bad.
apparently the r20 is only 70KG more than the 4agze and when you match it up wit the weight of the rb box, its pretty decent.

totally agreed that it would be a challenge.
I think that i will be looking at the sr20 in more detail - its cheaper power and only about 12kg more than the 4ag.
Maybe you should put a couple of hours wheel time in with your current setup before you go pulling it all out.

70kg is a very large amount of extra weight to have over the front wheels.
And the RB20 gearbox is going to be heavier aswell.
just put a goddamn 3sg in it.
However you need to hit the track a bit more first.
