welded 2 bars across the rails and bolted the seat to that.
on another one, i cut the buggery out of the rear mounts of an st162 seat and welded the 2 front bolt hole things onto the front to offset the seat a bit as it was too wide.
hey all,
just curious as to how any of you have modified your factory seat rails to fit buckets. my old man and i already have a plan on what to do. just interested if any of you have done this and how you did yours?
please add pics if possible. prefer pics of one that is currently complied.
cheers Matt

doing mine tomorrow
have an aftermarket rail modded to suit ae86 bolt holes.
welding 2 bars across the top of the rails, bars fold up at the side as it's aside mount seat.
wicked. this is exactly what we were gonna do.
should work out low enough. my bottom mount seat sat too high. so we have lowered the rear mounts and i have switched to a side mount fixed back.
post pics up tomorrow if i remember.
yea mine is a bottom mount fixed back. hope it dont sit to high.
^^ yeah Matty is hell tall so he mounted that seat pretty low.
yea sick. any of u got harnesses? i need to know where i can mount the harnesses in the rear. are there any existing mounting points in the back i can use? or do i have to put a bar across the back? ive already got the harnesses but i cant see where i can put em in the rear.
