Do you realise he charges bugger all for the work he does, he rarely even covers the costs when welding work comes up. You are the one who is going about it all wrong. He is setting an example of how passionate a person can be about their interests, he has the wheel contacts because he travels around all over going to motorsport events and is making friends and contacts that have allowed him to do the jobs on the wheels. The reason most people dont get served is because most people dont have $2000 to pay for some nice wheels.
Yes your right, if you get wheels widened by that shop they use his prodcucts. Why his? Because he has spent thousands of dollars having to tooling made to get the outers manufactured. He owns the dies used to make all the wheels he widens. But hey, Im sure you are 'pretty sure' you know what your taliking about, right?
