    Ive read a few posts and looked at a couple of articles and just want to know one thing;

    I have a totally stock ADM toyota sprinter. Using the standard rear end can i take the standard diff out and just replace it with an aftermarket diff(eg: TRD/KAAZ 2way), or do i have to replace the entire rear end? (axles, diff, tailshaft,brakes, etc)

    Thanks for your time.

    If you wanna get a lsd of any description you need an entire t series rear end to go into your sprinter. Do a search on here, your likely to find them in t 18 which are rear now days or you could get them out of a te27 or old skool L2000 celica however with some of these rear ends you might need someone with a jig to cut and weld all your spring perches, swaybar mounts and trailing arms.

    Thanks for the response guys.

    I also heard that some toyota hilux rear ends can be used to. Is that correct? Are they the T-18 or another one?

    T-18 is the model of car that has the T series diff (along with the JDM 86). The Hilux one is a F series?? and from the top of my head needs custom mounts.

    note that the t-18 version of the t series diff only came with drums, and only the 2nd series of t-18 came with mounts for the swaybar.

    a T-18 diff is the only diff upgrade that will be a direct bolt in job.
    hilux celica ect will need new mounts welded onto it.

    Hilux = G series

    F series = Crown, some Tarago, some Supras, some other early stuff

    T18 or JDM T series are the only easy swaps, all others need mounts changed. A PITA if you can weld, expensive if you can't.

    T-50 is a gearbox. you want a T-18 diff, and rear half of the tailshaft.
