Hey all, l just bought my first car the other day, it is a 1983 sprinter, l managed to get it for 2k. It is all stock and still has original wheels lol. it has minor rust(easy to fix) and clear coat is comin off but its gettin a repray. Here are pics l took on my phone, l will have more once l get the car 2moz.

well first it will be paint job and then l am not sure, lol l dont even have my L's yet lol l get em end of the yea. so l am not in rush to do anything, maybe save up and do all mods at once like a 4age and stuff.

ur kind of in tha same possition as me - lol. but i got me L's!!!!
are you going to keep it the red it is now? or is it only the gloss coat your doing, i would have imagined if its faded then you would have to strip back a few layers of colour to get a decent result

Thanks for replys, and l am keepin it same colour 4 now i like it, it will be resprayed like u said. if l change colour that meens l will have to redo engine bay so yeah but l will be getting bumpers resprayed black to return then to there prime.

Dont respray it. Get a 4AG first. Your not even on your L's.. it will just be gathering dust right..?
Should get over all that hardcore engine transplants and stuff so when your actually able to legally drive it, its waiting for you.
Why did you buy a car if you cant drive it yet. How much rego does it have.
But im still jealous because I have had my p's for like a few weeks and still haven't found a hachi
