I tried using one of those ones where you mix the 2 bits together and it makes a super strong adhesive. For me it was shit, it only works if its not defing gravity while its setting ie. dont use it on vertical or upsidedown surfaces, it wont work.

i dont know what the stuff we use at work. but it is sticky as hell! you get one bit on your leg and it wont come off for weeks!
but i just get the 3M stuff in an aerosel can. seems to work very well.
you just spray both surfaces and then let them tack dry then stick them both together.

I think your thinking araldite adhesive where you mix the two different parts together flaming heads.

Ill have a look for this 3m stuff… steroid chickens. Does it hold well? E.g. holding trim upside down on a boot lid?

Sikaflex is a good product but not really designed for trim peices (like interior trim stuff i assume)

That 3M stuff is what you want, and it is basically a Contact Adhesive. Spray it onto both sides, let it tack dry, then push the 2 peices together and it bonds instantly, and dries even better. You just have to get it right first time, as moving things after sticking them together can be a messy task that can ruin the job.

For the soarer badge, I assume its just a factory badge going onto the factory spot, some good double sided tape will work there, but dont use the normal newsagent stuff, its shit, have a look throught the 3M catalogue for thet one too.

go the 3m stuff. i have retrimmed a hoodlining with it. also a couple of dashes. very strong stuff.
isnt sikaflex more of a sealant? like urathene. it sticks aswell but it isnt really what it is designed for?
i use the spray on stuff at work when i trim subwoofer boxes, works really well!
