i just bought a bigport head to change over with the small port gze one.
firstly, while this work is being done is there any mods i should look at doing whilst the head is off?
secondly will all the smallport valves and cams, plus all the other bits in between go back together in the big one? the reason i ask, is the muppet who sent it too me packaged it like a one handed retard, and now a few of the buckets and shims are missing.
please note that the head is being built for a turbo motor.

if you transfer the buckets and shims across between the heads then they should be ok, provided you put them in the correct place, i.e. exhaust valve 1 bucket goes onto the corresponding valve on the new head. As for cleaning up the ports, they are fairly large already, so the only areas you really should work on is the section behind the valves, as this can be flowed out a bit more.
