I've rung a few local workshops to do some intercooler piping with no luck (need to see it). So I thought some one herd would be able to give me a rough quote on some intercooler piping. I'm weighing up the difference between having it done professionally or getting a couple of silicon hoses ($$$$) and doing it myself.

The work that needed is to connect the SC to the bottom of the IC which is on a slight downward angle. The other is a sloped down from the intake to the IC.

I would need a few silicon 90o bends which cost a small fortune. So I would have to weigh up the bends against the tow to the shop + labor and random stuff (I've got a large length of 2.5 inch stainless).

Can any body help me out?
4agte finally finished. 252rwkw with more to come

yeah i'd have a crack at that yourself. if someone else were to do it you'd be paying for the tow, piping, hoses and labour.

I'd use the length you have and go from there, it looks as tho it would be fairly straight forward, just to straight lenghts, you could prob get the size pipe you need pre bent from any exhaust shop, then either weld it or use silicone hose.

just coz i can here is my set up.

if you can get some bends and straight pipes the size you need.

Get friendly with an angle grinder cut em all up to angles you need, then use masking tape or mark with liquid paper pen lines across joins.

Then take it to a metal fab shop and get the to tack it.

    Go back and try it

Then if good, weld them up.
